According to a recent survey conducted by the U.S. Census Small Business Pulse, 22% of business owners have been forced to shut down, with African Americans accounting for almost half of that total.

The survey also found that 15-20% of businesses only have enough cash to cover three months of operations

Many of these closures may be permanent because of the inability to pay ongoing expenses and survive the shutdown. The impact on small businesses around the world is likely to be severe.” Read more
